Antwon Boxer/Bulldog Mix Male 2 years old 57 lbs. Hi! My name is Antwon and I'm the loyal pup who wants to find my person and make them as happy as they make me (with cuddles and playtime). My favorite time is when I'm with you, and I'm just the friendliest, happiest pup. I'm an energetic, happy guy and I'd do best in a home where I can get daily exercise and lots of love and affection! I'm so friendly with everyone I meet (I even like giving kisses to kids out on walks!) but I am energetic and definitely a 'bull in a china shop' at home so I'd do best in a home with adults only until I learn how to be a bit more calm overall. I do well with other dog friends but I'm VERY playful and I don't have a lot of social graces on understanding dogs who aren't ready to play. So if there's another dog in the home, it's important for that dog to be ok with a dog who constantly wants to play (or a dog who tolerates a pup who wants to constantly play!) The main thing I'm working on right now in my foster home is being comfortable being left alone. I've gone through a lot of changes in the first two years of my life and being a sensitive, sweet guy, this has caused me to really panic when I'm home alone. There are a ton of positive reinforcement training strategies to help a dog like me feel more comfortable being left alone (and PawsCo highly recommends an adopter work with a positive reinforcement trainer to learn all the helpful tips!) And I will likely make a lot of progress with a consistent, gentle training plan. But I will need a patient, committed human to help me learn and thrive. And in general, I'd do best in a home where my human is home a lot (or able to take me along with them to work!) Want to be my best friend?
