Juliet is a beautiful, yet feisty, 35-pound, two-year-old, tiny female Shar Pei looking for a loving guardian. Juliet is loyal to those she loves and doesn't trust anyone else. She's a 'go-slow' dog who warms up in time to be an incredibly loving companion. She is not good with other animals. So, she's looking for a home as the one and only pet, preferably with a fenced-in yard. Juliet was purchased from a breeder by an elderly woman who soon realized she couldn't handle a young dog. So, she was relinquished to Pei Land Shar Pei Rescue. This energetic and happy dog is busy and bonds strongly with her person. She is not good with visitors including neighbors, family, friends, and children. So, her behavior will need to be managed. She is healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative. She does have intermittent ear infections as do many Shar Pei. She is currently at the rescue headquarters in Plano, Illinois. Juliet's adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued pets of Pei Land Shar Pei Rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Juliet, please fill out the application at http://peilandrescue.com/adoption-application.html Once you've completed the application, feel free to follow up at 630-881-8091 or [email protected]
