About Chunk

This is Chunk. �����٪%8F��%8F%BD Chunk is a male pit bull between 11-12 years of age. He has had one front leg amputated after being hit by a car 4 years ago but other than that is generally healthy for a guy his age. He's strong and gets along well, taking stairs, getting in and out of vehicles etc�'�| He was adopted 4 years ago and his early history is unknown but he seems to have suffered abuse most likely from males. He's especially anxious and barks at men wearing hats. He is gentle and house trained. Good with cats but since anxious with sudden loud movements etc.. he needs to be in a home with no children or other dogs (unless a person has expertise in introducing dogs to each other) He is good with cats- basically ignores them but is pleasant. He likes to sleep on the couch or in the bed but also is okay being crated for periods of time. He has a loud protective bark when someone approaches house. He is a sweet soul in his golden years in a difficult situation where owner can't take care of him anymore. If you can help Chunk through giving him a special safe home, bless you.
