About Wilfred

Wilfred is a beautiful 9 yr.old full breed Australian Shepard. Pictured here with my son 3 years ago. He is house trained, walks on a leash well, sits and will go lay down on command. Last 5 years or so he has become aggressive in certain situations especially when he perceives there is a threat to me. He has given a warning with a nip to a full bite when another person has approached me. Other situations have occurred where he actually nipped at me. I have had a trainer and asked the vet for advice. Nothing has tamed the protective instinct.I'm a small woman and feel threatened at times by him as well as fear he will hurt someone. He can be a sweetheart and very loving. Need a better situation for him. He has valley fever and tked meds.
