About Noah

Adoption Fee: $50
Great Pyrenees / Poodle
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

This is Noah. He is a 7 year old great Pyrenees / poodle mix. He is a giant teddy bear, full of love. He is neutered and UTD on his vaccinations. He is about 45 pounds, so bigger than he looks in his photo. His family is having to rehome him because they have a toddler who is just too rough with him. After trying to teach the toddler to be gentle, and separating the toddler from the dog, the family has decided this is no life for this poor dog to live. He deserves to be loved 24/7, not locked away alone. He is a people person and loves to cuddle. He is weary of visitors to his house, so be aware of that. He does not attack or bite them, but he does bark. He is a great guard dog! He will also bark while in the bark yard if he is alone and hears people. That being said, he is dog and cat friendly. He grew up with a doggy brother who passed away and has spent time with cats. The family does not think he should be with young kids, as he has grown to fear them unfortunately. A few times he has nipped when he feels cornered or when he is snuck up on, but never ever has he broken skin or actually made contact. They are more fear nips. He could definitely do with some training. All of that being said, he truly is an amazing dog, with a big heart. He loves to cuddle and be right next to you. His fur is so soft and fluffy. With his hair grown out, he looks like a polar bear. A gentle giant 99% of the time. He is totally potty trained, and knows how to use a doggy door. Please take a chance on this sweet boy.
