Scyla DOB: September 11th, 2019 Adoption fee: $100.00 Scyla is a female Lab/Hound mix. Yes, I am on the thin side. What do expect after having 8 large puppies?! I am still trying to catch up. I no longer have to worry about puppies anymore, that is all in my past. I am a good eater, and I will put on weight once I am in a calmer setting with the focus just on me. I will need an understanding owner. I was being taken care of where I was before, but the focus was on breeding not socializing, human fun and interaction. I am still adjusting to being a companion for humans and not just other dogs/puppies. I will be a great alert dog, for things in my area which do not belong. I need a physical fence-in yard. Leashing was never in my dog vocabulary prior to arriving at the shelter. I am not recommended for cats at this time. I may match with another dog pending a meet and greet. This will depend on the application and dog already in the home. I have really opened-up and become more like a companion animal than I have ever been before in my life. With time to adjust, a slow introduction to knew fun things I will develop into an even more well-rounded family member.
