About Biscuit

This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. 2/15/2022: Biscuit is a sweet boy. He's been thru a lot. His previous owner (from when I got him in December 2021) said he'd been exposed to domestic violence and substance abuse. He nips and may bite when he feel threatened. He also tries to bite when you're trying to bath or groom him or take off his hoodie. He doesn't like pullovers. Only a chest and tummy strap type of sweater. I am hesitant to adopt him out to an individual because of his biting history. He nipped at my 2yo niece and bit my husband in the time I've had him. He's a good lap dog. He needs sedated baths and grooming. I've done my best, gotten him one sedated bath and muzzled him to trim him up. We've also tried calming treats. It would be great for him to go to a rescue organization or a senior sanctuary. He deserves a great life, peaceful and steady. We have an intake scheduled for 2/22 at our local animal shelter. I'm unable to keep him in March. Hoping something comes thru for him before this date. The shelter said they have a behavior professional that might work with him, they can't guarantee this. He's medically up to date and on a routine. He loves walks, sleeping, lounging on the couch or a pile of clothes. He hates loud sudden noises (like my sneezing). He is loyal, maybe a bit too much since he is protective. He used to bark when my husband kissed me, he's gotten better. There's a home somewhere for him, and hoping to find it for him.
