About Frito Lay

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. 1. Frito needs another playful rough and tumble dog to play with in his new home. 2-year old male Chihuahua/terrier blend, about 12 pound. Frito Lay is so cute and cuddly and he really is a good boy. Super sweet, calm, quiet guy. Gets along with all people and animals. He likes to play with the other dogs but is not overly rambunctious. He would really benefit from other playful dogs in the home. He doesn't even look at the cats or horses. When we go outside, he is good on the leash and takes care of his business right away. He is starting to ask when he needs to go out. He is wonderful in the crate but also likes to sleep on the bed and gets just as close as he can. Good with kids over 7 years. So far, he is very quiet. Adoption contract and fee applies. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
