About Ginger

Meet Ginger. Poor girl has been neglected for most of her life. One of her elderly owners died and the other went to a nursing home. She was surrendered she was covered in fleas and missing most of her hair on her back. She has since been deflead and is feeling so much better. Ginger has such pretty soft brown eyes and an AMAZING cuddler! She has bursts of playful friskiness at times and just likes to chill most other times. She is a favorite of the shelter staff and dog walkers. Ginger loves people and will sleep in a crate at night. Since she is older, she prefers the company of dogs who are not too rambunctious. We do not know what she thinks of cats. Ginger is about 10 years old and 35 pounds. Please help Ginger find a loving home to live out her senior years. A word about Ginger from one of our volunteers: 'I'm obsessed with this one! She's SO good in the leash and an AMAZING cuddler. She is so expressive and a great conversationalist if you need to talk.' We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
