About Vera

Vera American Bulldog Female 3 years old 79 lbs. Hi! I'm Vera and I'm so happy to meet you! I love people so much! My foster says I'm a 'big ball of love' since I love all the affection you have to give. I just a gem-cuddly and sweet (and I especially love belly rubs!) I'm a perfect buddy to hang out on the couch with you or work from home with you right at your feet. I'm just the best companion! But I'm not just all about snuggles on the couch! One of my amazing qualities is my love to be outside with you! I could be an excellent running buddy for a runner or jogger-currently, my fastest mile is 8.5 minutes and my average mile is about 10 minutes (not that I'm tracking��%BD��%BD%BD'��%BD��%BD%BD|). I love to play in the yard and get my energy out. But I'm that perfect balance of chill around the house and ready for an adventure when it's outside time. I have met other dogs and was fine with dogs who were gentle/kind back to me but I think I'd just prefer a home where I can be the one and only (I just prefer people most!) I haven't met cats so I can't be recommended to a home with cats at this time. I do need some more practice on leash. I'm quiet overall but when I see other dogs or bunnies, I pull a lot and since I'm a strong girl, it can be a lot for someone who isn't comfortable managing that pulling behavior! I definitely need a harness on walks and I'd thrive in a home where someone can help me learn how to be more polite when seeing other animals on leash (I'm eager to learn!) I'm also crate trained, potty trained, and I have just been such a lovely house guest in my foster home! I can't wait to find a forever home where I can bring so much love and happiness to wonderful human companions.
