About Oscar

Who is this darling dude making the adorable dopey face? It's 10-year-old Oscar--not named for the grouchy muppet, we hope. He's most definitely not green, but he can get a little grumpy with hyper young dogs who don't respect his more debonair approach to life. Tiny 8-lb. Oscar, who's likely a mix of rat terrier and Chihuahua, has turned the low maintenance/low energy lifestyle into an art form. He loves long 'walks' in his stroller and cuddling up on the couch with his special person. Except for pesky pups, he gets along with everyone. Oscar recently had dental surgery, so he prefers wet food that's easier to chew and digest. He's house-trained as long as he has a dog door or someone who's home to take him out every 2-3 hours. Oscar's dream digs would be a quiet, low-energy household, where he could spend his next ten years or so in total comfort.
