About Benny

Benny is a very loving, cuddly, happy dog. He loves to go on walks and hikes, but loves to take naps and cuddle with you. He is very protective of his people and things, but that can be a detriment because he can become quite anxious/aggressive. He does okay out in public, but can be leash aggressive when other dogs are around. I have started him on some anxiety meds which help to calm him down a bit, but still needs a decent amount of training to become less aggressive when in public. He is crate trained and hasn't had any accidents indoors in the 3 years I've had him. He has had 2 recent (within a month) biting incidents, with one breaking skin. He would do great in a home with lots of land to run and with a family who lives a quieter lifestyle. He is the most loving and smiling dog I've ever had, but I can't have him anymore due to the biting incidents. I just want the best for him and to be with a family that loves him as much as I do.
