Really sad to have to rehome this sweet fella. A little background: we have another elderly male pit in our home with health issues. There have been several biting altercations amongst them to the point we decided to permanently separate the. This would be doable but we also have small children and as our eldest has recently learned to open the gate that keeps them separated we are growing more concerned with the what ifs. He is a very sweet snuggle bug to humans. He has been around two small children we just recommended older children due to his size and the fact he thinks he's a lap dog at times. His his dog aggression also holds us back from being able to take him on walks he deserves due to the liability it could bring. So preferably someone with a fenced in back yard would be more suitable. Before having children we were able to have better control over the situation but it seems to get harder by the day and he really needs somewhere we he can be the only animal. Side note we do have a cat he gets along with but I don't know how he would be with others. Feel free to reach out for more information as we are trying our best to not have to send him to a shelter. Thanks so much.
