About Sadie

Sadie is a sweet, sweet girl who loves to cuddle and snooze in the softest places. She has had a rough past with many transitions and less than ideal treatment in her younger years which has left her with some anxiety about separation from her humans and fear around other dogs. She also has a strong prey drive and needs a solid hand during walks and to be kept away from cats and other temptations. Sadie would love a family of her own for the rest of her dog days, but needs a family without small children as their rambunctiousness can annoy her and trigger her anxiety. She has been in my care for the past year and we have gotten to know her quirks quite well. We love her, but are unable to provide a forever home as we have 2 small children in a small apt and she needs more space and quiet time than we can provide.
