About Scooby

Scooby has been waiting for a real home for quite some time. He was living with his 'family' when they decided to keep him in an outdoor kennel indefinitely. Poor Scooby was stuck outside alone and afraid, filled with heart worms! Thankfully his neighbor (also one of our volunteers) decided to step in and save him. We have been treating him for Heartworm for over 2 years because it was so severe. He is now finally negative and ready for his forever home!! Scooby is playful, affectionate, and lovable. He gets along with other dogs and kids! We do not know how he does with cats, so a home with no cats would be best. He likes to sing (howl) when he's happy/excited. He also has the cutest little smile! He walks well on the leash, rides well in the car, and is an overall an amazing dog. He is still in Texas, however we are planning to get him to a foster up north soon so he can meet any potential adopters! He is up to date on shots, neutered, and overall healthy.
