**WE ARE ONLY CONSIDERING HOMES WITH ANOTHER DOG FOR DALY** Hola, I'm Daly! I'm an 8 month old, 30 lbs ridiculously cute Spaniel/Shepherd mix. Three months ago, I was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico by a kind human and flew back to Los Angeles with her. - I was found limping on the side of the road in a trash pit after being dumped by my owner. Luckily, a local lady was feeding me, but everyone knew this wasn't the ideal life for me. I made the long 9 hour journey in a cat carrier to my new home. - As you can imagine, my life was pretty scary living out on the street. While I can be scared of new people at first, once I am comfortable, I will be your best friend. My foster sister Kalu has helped me feel super confident when meeting new humans. - I will need a family who can show me endless love and patience to help me feel safe in my new home. Since younger kids can be more unpredictable, a household with kiddos 10+ y/o is preferred. - As a medium energy dog, I am the perfect blend of playful and chill. I'm super social with dogs of all sizes and would love to live with at least one other pup. - Some of my favorite activities include: going to the dog park, wrestling with my foster sister, getting endless belly rubs, sunbathing on my bed in the backyard, eating bully sticks and going for car rides. - When my foster mom found me, she noticed I was limping on my back leg. The good news is that the vet said I should live a relatively normal life. I won't be able to do long strenuous hikes or go running with you, but I should be able to do most activities like a normal dog. The vet mentioned I might have some early arthritis later in life, but some daily joint supplements will help keep me young. - Smart girl? That's me! I'm potty/pee pad trained and crate trained. I've been working on my leash skills and have almost mastered my heel too. If you see me online I am still available for adoption! If you are interested in adopting me please fill out an application here: www.hitlivingfoundation.org/adoption-application, and email a video walkthrough of your home and yard to [email protected]. Your application will not be counted as valid without your video. You will hear back from us within a few days.
