About Vivienne

Meet Vivienne Look at this face! Vivienne and her 3 siblings Ariel, Jessie and Brutus, were surrendered to us after their owner could not find homes for them. Vivienne is about 5 months old, and is as cute as she can be. She is mostly white, with beautiful tan/silver markings and spots. When she first arrived, she was afraid of the staff and volunteers but the love and caring she has felt have really helped. She now runs up to her people and jumps up to be held. She loves to run, cuddle, and get any kind of attention she can. It has been amazing to watch Vivienne grow from a frightened little puppy toa fun bundle of love. Vivienne is super smart and is learning basic commands like sit, stay and off. She walks well on a leash. She has learned how to fetch a ball and bring it back, and would do this all day long if she could! Vivienne has a lot of good puppy energy and would do well in a home with a similarly energetic dog to help her burn off her playfulness. She does well with the right cats, but will try to engage them in play so would do best with a very confident cat. If you are looking for an adorable puppy, Vivienne would be a perfect choice. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
