About Squid

It will be love at first sight when you meet Squid! He's the real deal and the total package. He loves, loves, loves the soft squeaky toys. He will catch it in midair and bring it back to you to throw for him. He loves to play fetch with tennis balls or other toys. Squid is a real lovebug but may be reserved upon first meeting. Squid comes when called and loves not only receiving affection but giving it too. During his stay at the shelter he hasn't been reactive when walking past other dogs kennels. He is energetic and loves to do his happy dance. He knows the sit command and will sit once you get him to focus. Squid does well during bathing. He stands still during the bathing and drying. He is such a good boy. He has been in two play groups. Once with a female and the other time with a male. He was polite during introductions but is mostly independent staying by himself. He could be quite happy being an only dog and enjoying his humans. He is 2 years old and weighs 70 pounds. Come meet him at Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S. Airport Road, Inverness, FL 34450.
