About Rocky Raccoon

Rocky is a quintessential bulldog. He can be very stubborn especially when he doesn't want to go on walks, but he also has the best and sweetest personality and temperament. He loves to be around people, whether it's his own 2-legged family or his family's friends and guests, Rocky will warm up and cozy up to everyone in a heartbeat! Although he does get along with our 8 year old Shihtzu , he loves to get most of the attention. If you have a dog, they must be able to share you with Rocky. Rocky loves to get belly rubs and loves to cuddle. He's very obedient when it comes to getting up on furniture, if he's told he can't get up on the couch he won't. So he's still very highly trainable in that sense. Rocky would fare better in a home where there is someone to let him out on demand when he needs to go. Because he does signal when he needs to go potty. He'll stand right by the door to the backyard when he wants to go out. That said, he's not always keen on taking walks on a leash. He can be quite resistant with that. He does love to go out in the yard so a home with a backyard is a must. Rocky loves treats and always devours all the food in his bowl. He has a healthy appetite but is good with 2x a day feedings with treats in between. Other than his eyes looking weird(he had cherry eye surgery that didnt take), his vision is good and he has what seems like patchy shedding, Rocky is in great health.
