About Brook-Lyn

LIBR found me at the Brooklyn shelter as a stray in early June 2021 and rescued me after only a few days. There is nothing about my background from before that time at all. I have been with my current foster family since then. I am approximately 5 years old. No one knows my birthday. Health: I have some scars on the back of my neck that may be from a chain that embedded itself in my skin from my time before I was taken to the shelter. No one will ever know for sure. It doesn't hurt or bother me. They trim my fur in that area when I have my baths to make the scar a bit less noticeable. My fur is a little thin and is always the way it is now for the most part. I am spayed and am up to date on all my shots. I get Revolution as my heartworm and flea and tick protection. I have been very healthy and only spent time with the vet when I ate something I shouldn't have. I'm about 73 pounds now. I slobber, learn to love it! Sometimes when I drink, I need to clear my throat a bit, but that seems normal for me. Currently I eat twice a day. I get about a cup of Eukanuba dry kibble each feeding. I have a small amount of cheese or canned food mixed in. I like dog treats. (I also really like cooked broccoli). Oh, and I snore! My Personality My family named me Brook-Lyn. I answer to Brook and to Brookie. I get very attached to my person and want to have their full attention. I will absolutely bark to get it. I sometimes bark if someone else is trying to take their attention away. My home in general should not be hectic at all. I am ok with calm dogs but I tend to play a bit rough. I am lovable, loyal and sweet....ppl tell me how cute I am all the time. Will you be my forever?
