About Mila

Hi there. I am looking to rehome my Aussie Mila. She is a 50lb Female Black Tri, spayed and up to date on all shots. She is not good with children or other pets. The bad. She suffers from anxiety/stress and has resource guarding tendencies that lead to defensive biting of hands. Has happened a half dozen times over the last 3 month and has drawn blood. The good. We are working with a highly recommended certified behavioral trainer. She is starting to show progress but needs time, patience, and diligence in order to correct the bad habits. The trainer is adamant that her behavior is fixable. We just aren't the best parents to get her back on track. Mila is in week 5 of a 20-week training program and we WILL cover the remaining cost of the program for any local adopter!! Will provide references to trainer if interested! She's an amazing dog 98% of the time. Extremely smart, loving, healthy, good natured. She just needs an owner who can give her the attention necessary to correct some bad habits. We have some career/lifestyle changes that will make it very difficult for us to provide a good home.
