Reptar is a sweet Staffy born ~8/25/21. He loves giving people kisses, chewing on bones and squeaky toys, and chasing after the end of a rope. He is mostly potty trained (stands near the door to signal needing to go out) with occasional accidents. He is crate trained and enjoys resting in his crate nestled in his blankets. Reptar learns commands extremely fast ('yo-yo' meaning come, 'sit', 'down', 'kisses'). He is very food motivated and figures out puzzles quickly. We are rehoming Reptar because he was listed as a chihuahua when we adopted him from a rescue shelter. My partner is blind and has a Guide Dog who was trained to stay calm even when being attacked, so keeping what will be a 40+ lb pitbull isn't safe for anyone involved (currently he is ~13lbs). He may get along with large dogs who stand their ground, though! When he feels uneasy/mad/overenergized Reptar snarls/growls/bites at people and dogs, so he needs ongoing obedience training and lots of exercise in a large fenced yard.
