About Lily

Y'all look at this! I am the champion of herding dogs in the first ever shelter dog competition in Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter. Now, I knew I was going to take 1st place since I love to herd dogs, literally, and I was the only competitor. I can't help that the other dogs at the shelter don't have the mad skills that I have, right? Besides, being a champion herder I love to play fetch. Oh, maybe I should see if they will hold a fetch competition here. I am full of good ideas. ���S Some other things that you might want to know about me are that I enjoy being out in the yard, showing off my skills for treats, going on walks, hanging out with my favorite staff member, and I am absolutely adoptable. Now, some of the things I am not a good match for are small kids (might knock em over), small animals because they are so fun to chase, and I probably wouldn't want to live with another dog unless they like to be herded all the time. Speaking of time, I have been at the shelter since March when I came here from my home state of Texas, and you know that is never a good thing when a dog has been at the shelter this long.
