About Gus

Gus is a 1-2 year old wirehaired Schnauzer mix who is full of energy and love. He is an engaging and friendly dog who enjoy giving and receiving affection from humans and playing with other dogs. He is not aggressive or food-aggressive, and seems to do well around kids. At around 17 lbs, he would make a great playmate for children or small-medium dog breeds. The best home for Gus would have a backyard, another similar-sized dog, and a family that can spend a lot of time with him, both at home and on adventures. Considering how much he loves to be a lapdog, a home that allows him up on the couch would be ideal. Gus is doing well with his leash training and potty training, and picks up tricks very quickly. He would need daily exercise and periodic grooming, as with most non-shedding dogs.
