About Poochie

We adopted Poochie from a no-kill shelter and have had her for 2 years. We love her very much. She's affectionate with us and causes no problems in the house or yard. But while she has little interest in other dogs who are on a leash, in the past 6 months she's bitten two small, unleashed dogs that ran at her. She seemed to think they are like the squirrels she tries to chase. People in the neighborhood have other small dogs and are very afraid she'll bite another one. The city wants us to put her down, but we hope to find a setting in which she might do well. She deserves to live.
