About Little Bitty Barkley

Barkley came from a breeder when he was little bitty guy!! He is so cute and so funny. He is in great health except for one of his eyes who after being checked by an eye specialist was revealed that he unfortunately lost his vision on that side. He will require drops. This is what is foster Mom has to say: Barkley is a 14 1/2 week old pug who loves to play with his foster sister Xena who is a chihuahua. He also plays with toys and anything he finds. He is a bundle of joy! Barkley is blind in one eye, but doesn't know it! He runs around like any little puppy. He's between 5-6 lbs. He is just learning to be potty trained. We are looking for a family who is familiar with Pugs. He is completely vetted and received a 6 months Pro-heart injection for heart-worm. Barkley is not neutered and will be done at the age of 6 months. a $100 refundable deposit will be asked to insure he will be neutered. The Rescue will be responsible for it unless you would like your Veterinarian to do it. His adoption fee is $1,100.00 Our energetic puppy and young adult aged dogs require owners with active lifestyles, regular walking and socialization. As a gentle reminder for seasoned dog owners as well as new ones, a day in the life of a puppy is one of high energy, early mornings, late nights and housetraining! If you are a Senior, please consider adopting one of the many Senior dogs in need of a home. The advantages of a mature dog are numerous and rewarding for both the dog and the owner. Our main concern is the age of the dog and getting them placed in a loving forever home. We require a Florida residence, full or part time. Please consider this when submitting your application as you must be in Florida at the time of the adoption. We do not place our dogs in homes with young children for the safety of both the child and the dog.
