About Auggie

Auggie is a 12 month old border collie who I have owned since he was 8 weeks old. I had all intentions of working with him in agility and other sports, however life has taken a turn and I no longer am able to provide Auggie with everything he needs. Auggie is a high energy dog who needs to work. A home interested in dog sports or herding is best. Border Collies are working dogs, and Auggie is no exception to that. He does well with dogs and my cats, and does well around children and people. He is so loyal, he loves nothing more then to follow his owner everywhere. It breaks my heart that I am unable to keep him, I have tried so hard to make it work but he needs more then I can offer right now. Auggie does have a nose deformity called a 'bifid nose' which is extremely rare but it is harmless and does not cause any medical problems. Auggie is reactive towards dogs and animals on walks, he will either need a trainer or an owner experienced enough to train him.
