About Lucy

Lucy is the sweetest cat. She will follow you everywhere. She loves to reach up to your neck and give kisses. She sleeps with her foster mommy and loves purring and laying on your chest. She is playful and absolutely loves to run after toys and attack dog toys like prey. This is one of those fosters that you would keep if you had room. She is one of the most loving cats I have ever met. Sadly, Lucy did not start out in the best situation. A young child tormented her and she has anxiety from this. Lucy would be best in a home with just her and adult owners. Her owner needs to be able to respond to her anxiety. Lucy will love on you with ears tucked back ready to be hurt. If she senses danger, she does do warning bites. These have never broken skin but could concern a younger child or someone sensitive to this that doesn't understand her anxiety. When she gets stressed, we throw her toy and she attacks it. She has never been any danger to anyone. She just is easily scared but is so social and outgoing, the only way she can deal with the anxiety is with being snippy. She doesn't hide, she can't bear to be away from her humans. Lucy does need a very special home, someone who will work with me (a professional cat behaviorist) to learn how Lucy reacts and how to enjoy her. She is very healthy and fixed.
