ELLIOTT UPDATE FROM FOSTER - He is a super awesome dog! My husband and I have been talking about keeping him, but due to his size and need of more exercise than I am physically able to give him, a lifelong commitment would not be fair to him. He has done great with the other dogs as well as the kids this weekend. Our great nieces and nephew had a great time with him. They are ages 6,9 and 12. He is super great with kids as he is loving and not a big jumper, so he did not knock the kids down once! I wish I had my hip replacement already and we were able to keep him because not only my husband and I, but the entire family fell in love with him. My son and daughter in law are at work almost 12 hours a day or they would have liked to adopt him as well. It makes me want to cry thinking this poor boy has not been adopted yet. Not many dogs will entertain themselves as well with toys as he has. I can tell he wants to get out and go for a walk and exercise and only wish I could take him around the block a few times. Elliott is a Boxer mix. He just turned two and all 48.6 lbs. of him is just waiting for someone to love him and call him the love of their life. He is as close to perfect as they come. He is fairly well mannered, loves humans of all sizes, gets along with other dogs. He is housebroken, loves to run and play and absolutely loves to cuddle. The only thing we don't know is his ability around cats. His adoption fee is $225.00 and he is ready for a new home. Neutered, current on shots, wormed, heartworm negative and micro-chipped.
