About Apollo

2 year old purebred American Staffordshire Terrier. Owned since 9 weeks of age. Socialized in daycare 2-3 times per week from the age of 16 weeks. Gets along with all female dogs. Has issues with some male dogs, which did not improve after being neutered. A very sweet dog, loves to be in your lap despite not being a lap-sized dog. Life revolves around the attention of people and treats of course. No known aggression towards people, but will grumble when asked to move because he's heavy. Unfortunately our day care will not allow him back, a new male dog was brought to the daycare and Apollo instigated a fight. We live busy lives and this dog enjoys the company of people or female dogs. Would do better in a household where those options may be available. We love this dog, so we would ask a contract be signed in which the dog could not be euthanized or given up for adoption without our consent, and if the need arose we would assist in rehoming him.
