About Betsy

Betsy came to us from a commercial breeder. She had a horrible eye injury that was left untreated for too long to be fixable, so she had to have her right eye removed. Betsy is a 6 year old Boston Terrier and she weighs about 20 pounds. She is very, very, timid and is working on gaining confidence and adjusting to life with one eye. This girl has so much potential for the right home! She will blossom with your love and care. She is learning about living indoors as a pet, and is making progress each day. She is using pee pads and going outdoors into a fenced yard throughout the day. She seems okay with other similarly sized or smaller dogs, but would probably be best with one friendly, calm dog to help her learn about her new home easily. We adopt within three hours of Lee County Florida. We are seeking an adult home for Betsy since she is very undersocialized and will need time to learn about humans.
