About Kane (bonded w/ Kali)

LOCATION: Slidell, Louisiana DOB: 4/25/18 Meet Kane and Kali!! They are a bonded pair so they do everything together-eat, sleep, play, go outside etc. Neither are high energy dogs and they love to spend their time with their people. They are the perfect balance of lazy and playful. Kali - Female(has white on her nose and toes). Kali is a silly gal. She loves to play and will let you know. (She's a play barker) She typically prefers women, but still will love on men once she warms up to them. She's also very good about letting you know when it's time to love on her. Kali has great recall. She's a bit more shy and stand-offish of the two and she sleeps like she's never slept in her life! Kane - Male Loves all people. He is the more social and loveable of this dynamic duo. He would sit on your lap all day long if you let him. He is definitely the more adventurous of the two. They would love a family with kids over 8 years old that want to go outside and play, play play! Both are good with kids although Kane can get a little excited if using a 'baby voice'. They both prefer to play with sticks over toys. Throw it in a lake or pond and they will retrieve it! This duo can swim! When these pups went into the foster home they were both a little timid but they quickly warmed up to the other dogs who were all shapes, sizes and ages. They both need some leash work but they respond to Sit, Wait and Give Paw. Food is the way to their heart and they will be happy to share a free kiss to anyone willing to give them food or a treat. Their ideal home should have no other animals (cats, goats, chickens, birds, etc) as they have a high prey-drive. They have been around horses and did great-could have cared less about them. Both are housetrained and have not used a kennel. And they love car rides!
