Location: Conroe, Texas DOB: 10/2013 (AGE 7yrs) Don't let Oreo's age fool you! He may be an older dog, but he still shows flashes of that inner pup. His inner pup comes out the most when the adults or kids in his foster home get home from school or work. Oreo is laid back and enjoys laying at your feet or next to you on the couch. Even so, he really enjoys stuffed chew toys, walks, and just being alongside others. He loves being in the room with others, even if it's just to lay around. His favorite game is tug-of-war. He is house trained and no longer has accidents inside the home. He is very quiet for the most part but isn't afraid to speak up when strangers are at the door. He does listen when reassured that there isn't a real threat. He is protective of his pack. Oreo is a big gentle giant around kids. He has been around kids that range from 3 to 16 years old. He is calm and meets new people quite easily. He is such a big dog that it somehow surprises most how well behaved he is with new folks. Oreo knows basic commands for sit and lay down. Oreo needs slow introductions to other dogs. He gets along with other smaller dogs but would need to be initially supervised to make sure that he isn't pushy. True to his size, he feels he has to be the big dog in the house. He currently gets along with his friends, a medium sized Pit Bull and a small Dachshund. Oreo has shown no aggression or dislike for any adults or kids but is particular about other dogs. He does not like cats. Are you also a little mellow, with bursts or energy and youth?
