About CLEO

PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST BEFORE CALLING...AND FOR A RESPONSE PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL...PLEASE CALL...BUT ONLY AFTER READING ALL INFORMATION...NO EMAILS WILL BE RESPONDED TO...ONLY PHONE CALLS...I DO NOT CHECK EMAILS.....Hi...my name is Cleo...Not sure of my breed...but like Heather says...RESCUE IS THE BEST BREED!! My owner believes I have husky and terrier in me, although I do resemble a kelpie and also a Portuguese Podengo if you are familiar with those breeds. I was born on April 6th of this year so I am still very young just over six months. I am about 35 lbs but I will probably grow a little bit more so it is best that I am adopted to somebody that lives in a house with a big yard that has somewhere for me to run because I do have a lot of energy and I would not be good in a condo. My current owners got me from somebody whose dog had puppies and they thought I was so cute but didn't really think about what they were getting themselves into and now only a few months later they want to find me a new home and it is very sad but hopefully my next destination will be my last one. Will you be my new loving parents that will love me forever? I don't know if I would be a good match for young children because I do have a little bit of a feisty personality and I also probably need some training because I do have some food aggression but please forgive me for this not everybody is perfect. I do need to make sure I find the right family who is going to be patient with me and work with me and maybe afford to get me some obedience training. Although my current family was not really thinking about the commitment that it was going to take to have me living in an apartment that is small and also now having a newborn child, they do love me very much and they don't want me to go to a shelter where I can risk getting killed. So they are working with this nice lady named Heather who will make sure that I get the home that I need and deserve. It is unsure how I would be in a home with cats because I have never lived with them before. I'm a really cute little girl and well behaved other than the food issue ...still so many years ahead of me,. ..I'm friendly and I love to take walks. I am still a child and love to play.. I'm potty trained as long as you take me outside. .I AM THE FRIEND YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AND WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER....WILL YOU LOVE ME? .All shots are up to date and I have a certificate of clean health. I am spayed heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea and tick prevention and if you adopt me you MUST keep me on both and up to date with yearly check ups and vaccines...
