About Leo

Bold and beautiful best describes this boy! He is sooo handsome! Leo is a 3 year old Pomeranian/American Eskimo mix. He is approx 23 pounds, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He is a great on a leash and a super companion. He is VERY headstrong and independent and his adopter MUST be a strong, alpha leader who is familiar and experienced with the breed. He is a fun little boy and will 'talk' to communicate with you. Leo is very smart! He is said to be good with other dogs but most of our smaller dogs find his personality a little too strong and get overwhelmed. He also tends to bond to one person/family and can be protective so he would do best as the only dog in the home and one that does not have company arriving on a regular basis. He would not do well in an 'apartment/condo' type setting ...a home with a fence would be the best fit, as he loves to run in the yard.
