About Fritz

Meet Fritz, an adorable eight-month-old, 35 lb. jack russell/lab mix. He was previously found as a stray before making the journey to Connecticut where he is now in a loving foster home. This pup is a total sweetheart! He loves to cuddle, go for walks, play with his squeaky toys, and run around the yard. Fritz is great with all that he meets, kids and other dogs included. He adores his people and being by your side. He's a big ball of energy so he'd love to find an active family to go on plenty of adventures with! This high energy pup needs a dog savvy adopter to guide him and follow through on basic puppy training. He's incredibly playful and would thrive with another dog that has patience with puppy energy OR is a younger, playful dog. Right now Fritz must be crated when left alone due to boredom related destructive chewing. An adopter that is gone minimal hours a day is preferred. He is so smart so he would do great with training, as well as enrichment games. With patience and the right training, Fritz will flourish into a happy, playful, well-trained boy. He is incredibly treat motivated and has a will to please. Like any young dog, he NEEDS structure and routine! He will flourish with the right family and just needs to be given a chance. You MUST have a home with a fenced yard. No apartments or condo living for this guy. Fritz's adoption fee is $350 and he is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.
