About Andy-Alabama

Andy is an approx. 8 month, 30 lbs.blue heeler mix that is currently in a foster home in Alabama. He came into the shelter as a stray. He is great with dogs and kids, large and small. Unknown on cats. Loves affection, cuddles and to be close.He is working on potty training and does do pretty good on leash. He does have some form of separation anxiety which manifests with barking in the crate at this time. This will probably change as he gets more comfortable and adjusted. So, a person who was home a fair amount would be best for Andy and/or someone who would send him to doggy daycare a few times a week. Although he is good with children, we recommend and encourage children 10 and older. Andy is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and neutered. Andy needs a foster or foster to adopt commitment to come to FL. He can be here on December 1 with a commitment.
