About MOLLY

MOLLY is looking for her perfect furever family! 6 year old female Lab mix LOCATION: Pensacola FL NEEDS: Secure fenced yard, no unsupervised time outside, active family, not left alone too much. HIGHLIGHTS: Playful, loving, housebroken. Good Golly Miss Molly! This girl is a beautiful and sweet 6 year old, 29 pound bundle of love. Molly truly believes she's a tiny lap dog and is quite happy snuggling up to, or on you any chance she gets. Molly gets along with all of the pups in her foster home but sometimes doesn't want to share the couch or her favorite spot on the big bed with her foster sisters. She may need a little correcting with that if she has a fur brother or sister in her new home. Molly will occasionally steal a toy that another dog is playing with so we are working on sharing too. Molly's favorite way to spend the day is chasing geckos. When she does catch one, she spits it right out-guess the green ones aren't quite ripe! Watching her hunt is hilarious, she jumps like a rabbit and goes into bushes with all four feet! She seems to be housebroken and she loves being outside with her foster siblings and foster mom. Molly should have a fenced yard and not be left alone outside due to a previous history of digging. She has not done this in her current foster home, but we were told she did it before so supervising her outside is a smart thing for her new owner to do! Molly loves going for walks with her foster dad and meeting other dogs and people along the way. She never meets a stranger and greets everyone with a tail wag and a friendly bark. She eats well and enjoys car rides. Molly would do best in an active home with children who understand and respect pets. Another dog in the home would also be best. She plays with another foster pup who is 1/2 her size and is very gentle with her. She also plays with toys and balls. Molly will not do well in a quiet home with nothing to do. She is a young and curious pup who needs activity to keep her happy and healthy! Molly has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, fecal tested, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility.
