About Duke

Hi my name is Duke. I'm a 6 yr old, Great Dane mix. They call me the gentle giant because even though I'm a big boy, I'm a lover. I'm potty trained and will let you know when I need to go outside. I get along great with my foster dog brothers and sisters; I cat tested fine as well. I love cuddles, especially having my ears rubbed. I will sleep on the floor right beside wherever you are! You might want to keep your trashcan away from me because I'm just tall enough all those yummy treats can be irresistible, but otherwise I'm a really good boy! I like to walk and don't mind a leash. I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, and micro-chipped. I will require a fenced in yard. To apply to adopt visit www.handsofhoperescue.com/adoptapp Duke's adoption fee is $250. All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Norton, KS and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. We do allow out of state adoptions, however qualified in state applications will be given preference. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog based on the dogs needs.
