Haley is an incredibly sweet loving and very smart Blue Heeler. I have fostered her for 2 years due to the pandemic and she gets along exceptionally well with my male dog but has had a problem with my dominant female, also a Blue Heeler. She will retrieve a ball of frisbee or a rope tie until she falls over from exhaustion and she brings it back to you and puts whatever you've thrown for her including a basketball that has some air out of it directly into your hand so that you don't even have to bend over to pick it up! She would be a super dog for a senior because she wants to be by your side constantly and you can never pet her enough. She is kennel trained and is good about being in it even though she was kenneled excessively as a puppy by her original owner who was a nurse and gone for long 12 plus hour shifts so I try not to put her in the kennel unless I really need to. She tolerates cats and seems to like kids a lot even though I don't have any but has experienced them at multiple dog parks and her previous foster home had a young boy that she was very attached to. I am her third owner she is 7 years old. I am scheduled to get her a rabies shot on December 4th and she is up to date on her vaccinations, I give my own as I am a vet tech. I recently had to downsize from my home on 6.3 acres to a mobile home and I am limited to two dogs, and Haley is my foster makes three, and simply has to find a new home much as I hate to give her up. She really deserves a loving home and will faithfully keep you company. She is carrying extra weight which she probably accumulated with her original nurse owner because she was kenneled so much and not exercised as needed. She was scheduled to be spayed but the pandemic put the kibosh on that and I haven't been able to get her in since due to money situation. Please help!
