Bear went everywhere with him for the first 5 years. His owner got married two years ago. Bear was not comfortable with the 1 year old baby that is now crawling about the house. He needs an experienced guarding breed dog owner. He needs a home with no kids. He went to doggy day care 2-3 times a week and was fine. He is protective of home and will challenge strangers but has never bitten anyone. He is affectionate to those in his home. He suffered some anxiety in the first foster home so we moved him. He was anxious at first at the one he is in now but has settled into the routine there. He needs routine and someone who knows how to handle his protective nature.
