Wain, or as we call him Lil Wain, is an approximately two-year-old, 30-lb cattle dog mix currently being fostered in Tallahassee, FL (Leon County). This little guy has overcome so much in such a short period of time. Wain and his brother were found on the side of the road by a good Samaritan, and he was scared of everything. Since then, he has learned to trust people, and he is such a sweet and loving boy. He learns quickly and is working on sit, down, come, watch me, heel and touch. When he first arrived, he would freeze when on a leash. Now he is able to walk through the neighborhood; although, he is yet to be able to walk in an area with a lot of people and noises. That has been too much for him currently, but with time, he will be able to overcome this. He loves the flirt pole, playing ball and chasing other dogs. He has not been cat tested, but a house without cats would probably be best. He does well in the fenced in yard unattended, but he likes to stay with his people. He has learned that riding in a vehicle is fun and can lead to walks in the park. Wain settles down easily and will curl up in your lap at night and sleeps in his crate with no issues all through the night. This little guy will melt your heart if you give him a chance!
