About Balboa

Meet Balboa. This sweet boy was picked up wandering the streets, dehydrated and very hungry. No one every showed up to claim him. Balboa is learning that beds are soft, toys are fun, and food is plentiful. He has learned how to use a doggie door and does not 'mark' when inside. He is also crate trained at night. Balboa has lots of energy and would love a playmate in his new home. He loves tug of war, fetch and knows how to sit on command. He is working on leash walking. Balboa has not been around cats. He gets along great with bigger dogs that like to play. Balboa loves people and wants a family to love him. Balboa is about 2 years old and 50 pounds. Please help Balboa find the family that he deserves. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
