Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $250 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. *** In honor of Betty White, the listed adoption donation is reduced by half for the month of January! *** Delightful Devin is a 2.5-year-old, 65 pound German Shepherd dog with a goofy and jovial personality. He is great with other dogs who enjoy roughhousing and likes toy time too. Devin is a fan of affection too and likes to cuddle with you on the couch when it's time to wind down for the day. He is super smart and will sit for the command and hold out his paw for you to shake it. Devin is simply darling and we think you will find him as alluring as we do. He is crate trained and while the crate is not his favorite thing, he sleeps soundly overnight, and as long as he's on a consistent routine he is housetrained. Devin tells us he enjoys running around the yard, playing games of chase or wrestling with the other dogs in his foster home. He is good at playing on his own as well and is always up for squeaky toy to toss around for himself. Devin lives with other dogs, and has met children and other new adults with no issue. He is interested in cats, so dog savvy cats would be ok. Devin does well when walking on the leash and going for rides in the car. He came to rescue with a broken tail so it had to be amputated, but he doesn't mind and neither do we, since it left him with an adorable nub! Devin would shine his brightest in a home with someone who knows and can appreciate all the characteristics of the German Shepherd Dog breed and is ready for all that entails.
