Phoenix, AZ Open Tuesday-Sunday from 11am-6pm Ollie is a quirky boy who loves to burst into action at any moment to play with his favorite companions! He is a 2 year old Lhasa Apso/ Poodle mix that weighs 25 pounds full grown. Ollie can be a bit shy when first meeting new people but will easily warm up with a bribe of a tasty treat or even a cool new toy! He needs a mature, dog savvy home with no children under the age of 18. Ollie has done well with most adults but truly bonds closest with the woman in the home. He would do best in a home with no men or a man that will understand that Ollie will always pick the woman to be his favorite. Ollie is not fond of being picked up and prefers to have his own space for some down time. He has done great with other dogs his size and may love to have another dog in the home. However, he does resource guard food, treats, and toys and will need to have monitored playtime with any other dogs. Please bring any potential canine companions to meet with Ollie prior to adoption. Ollie is partially house broken and kennel trained. He is not fond of leashes and would do best with a securely fenced yard and humans that don't mind being home bodies. Ollie will need a patient home that understands he will require training as he adjusts. He may greatly benefit from professional training for his resource guarding and fear of leashes. Ollie is hypoallergenic and will require regular grooming every 4-6 weeks. He does not like being groomed and will need to be sedated for his appointments. He is a silly boy that loves to play with toys, beds and people!
