About Puma

This pretty girl is a traffic stopper! While on walks around the neighborhood, Puma gets plenty of compliments from passersby, but others have stopped their cars in the street to tell her foster mom what a beautiful dog Puma is. But don't be fooled, she is not just a pretty face. She is a spunky, sweet, and affectionate 3 year old, 56 pound, female Pittie/American Staffordshire mix with lots of energy and love to give. Puma loves people and will charm your friends, family, and neighbors with her wiggly butt and abundant affection. This silly girl loves running around outside, playing fetch, playing tug with her rope toys, chewing on her bones and yak cheese, and tossing her stuffed toys around. She will also happily nap in the sun or at your feet. At the end of the day, her favorite thing is curling up and snuggling with her person (that could be you!). She is crate trained, but she can be left alone in the house with no issues. Because of her energy level, it is best if she has a fenced yard, no kids under 12, an owner experienced with handling larger dogs, and initially be the only pet. She has a history of living with other dogs; however, they need to be a match for her energy and playfulness. Puma will be the happiest dog in the world and will love you forever if you have a quiet home with a nice backyard and will give her all the love and treats she deserves.
