About Milo

Adoption Fee: $199
Pit Bull / Lab
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Milo is a sweet boy that comes from a not so good previous home. While the scars left on him tell us enough about his past, we want to make sure his future is a much better place. He was used as a stud previously and now we just want him to be a dog. He is very smart and loves to cuddle. He was even abused by children so we do not recommend having children in the home. Milo likes woman more than men so if your looking for protection Milo is your guy. He is a sweet boy looking for the pawfect place to call home. Important Information Please read! Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, and agree to the following directions please contact us. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, or neglected and /or abused, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, some are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train. Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue. However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by a state-of-the-art veterinarian We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location, usually within 25 miles of our address. All our pets are offered at a flat rate of $100. We do not upcharge for purebred dogs. We do not ship dogs but are willing to help with transport across the united states. The process of adoption will always begin with a foster application. The reason for this is because we want to make sure our animals are never failed again in life and so you as the owner feel like you have received the animal you have been looking for. If you feel the animal is not the right one for you we will arrange to pick up the dog within 72 hours. We are foster based so we need time to arrange for the dog to be placed back into a proper home. Grants wishes staff is transparent with everyone and we expect for you to do the same. We look forward to building a happy, healthy, and rewarding relationship with you.
