About Buddy

Hello Everyone, my name is Buddy. I am 3 years old, Boxer that's 65lbs of pure goof! My foster humans say that I am the happiest, sweetest, and most gentlest handsome guy you'll meet. - I LOVE HUGS! Especially wrapping my paws around my humans. Do you also like to cuddle, because I do too! I just like to be around my humans as much as possible. - Potty trained, check! I can sit and I am learning some other basic commands from my human's as well! Not only that but I sleep through the night! I do love sleeping in the same room as my humans, like one big happy family. - Since I was left alone out in the wild, I can get scared and have some separation anxiety when my humans leave. I do like going into my crate, its helps me calm down, but could use some confidence on being okay alone. - If you like to walk and run everyday, I am your DUUUUDE!! My foster Dads say I am very good and even know how to heel when jogging so I don't pull you! I walk very well on a harness, but need some work on controlling my excitement when I see other dogs. If you have a treat to help redirect me, that usually helps! I just need a little more work, and I'll be the best in no time. - I've never met a cat, but my neighbor has one and I am very curious about it! I can usually smell him, and any other dogs that are close to the house. I lead with my nose, what can I say, I am a dog! - Loud noises (alarms, door bells, sirens, horns, etc) don't bother me in the slightest, but I can hear my leash jingle or treat bag ruffle from rooms away. Did I mention I like treats?! - Looking for a new member of the family band, look no more! I would love to be in a home with lots of energy and lots of people to hug and to keep me busy. Ideally with a place to run and play outside that has a tall fence, so I can't escape. If I can nap and sun bath at the same time, GOALS! Let's do this!
