Bentley is searching for an adult-only home with a strong leader that has a minimal number of frequent visitors. He is initially wary of strangers, but warms up with a little patience and is extremely loyal and affectionate to his loved ones. He would be happiest in a home where his owner is home more often than not. Bentley is a very smart boy who is house broken, kennel trained, leash trained and also knows basic commands. He was also enrolled in a board and train program with Zen K9 who said he was one of their favorite residents! He needs a person that will commit to continuing his training and follow the directions of the trainer by kenneling him for feedings and when visitors come over. Bentley would be happiest in a home where he is the only pet and center of attention. He would particularly enjoy a home with a yard that he can run around in and talk to the birds. No apartments or homes that share common walls please, as he tends to forget to use his inside voice when his family is away.
