About Jovie

My name is Jovie! I am an almost 2 yo, 75 lb. spayed female german shepherd/australian shepherd mix! Originally, I was a Craigslist pup, then I found myself at the shelter where I was adopted and returned TWICE. I was deemed 'unadoptable' but my shelter friends really liked me and found CPR! My foster mom came to meet me and recognized how much potential I have and decided to give me another second chance (since I had already had a couple). My foster mom calls me a party girl because I'm always looking for the most fun things to do and I am a social butterfly! I don't like being bored so when I am, I get creative and figure out how to make my own fun! I easily clear 4' fences and have problem solved my way over a 6' fence too! So, I will require a family who loves leash walking and lots of activities! I am very smart and catch on to routines and rules very quickly! I also love other dogs but I tend to be very excitable and a little pushy so my future people need to be dog savvy too! I have a kitty foster sister who thinks she's a dog and doesn't mind me following her around booping her with my snoot but I hear most kitties aren't into that. I love people! Will walk up to just about anyone for pets or to share a toy. I even like to rub into them like a cat! I am crate trained (and very quiet! I only offer a little woof woof once in awhile - my foster mom is impressed!), house trained and have some basic obedience skills but my foster mom says I'm a work in progress (I think I'm perfect the way I am). Please spread the word that I'm looking for my FUR-ever family, I know they're out there and I can't wait to meet them!
